NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding bug report.
Summary
When Assigning or Transitioning an issue, from the Service Desk queue view, using the Old Navigation style, the screen is greyed out and a spinning wheel stays on the screen indefinitely. The task doesn't complete on the browser but it does in the background.
A refresh is necessary to continue using JIRA. If the task is performed from the "New Navigation Style" or the default JIRA view, the task completes normally
Environment:
- Jira Service Desk Cloud
- Old Service Desk Navigation Style enabled
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new Service Desk project in JIRA Cloud
- Create a new issue in the project
- Change the navigation style by clicking on: "Switch back to old navigation" on the left column
- Click on "Assign to me" button
Result: A spinning wheel is shown indefinitely and an error is logged in the console
Expected: current user is assigned to issue and one can continue using JSD.
This error reads:
batch.js:12460 Uncaught TypeError: b is not a function c @ batch.js:12460 h.onDialogFinished @ batch.js:12460 Dialog.extend._handleSubmitResponse @ batch.js:2614 Dialog.extend._handleInitialDoneResponse @ batch.js:2614 ajaxOptions.complete @ batch.js:2543 completeHandler @ batch.js:617 j @ batch.js:41 o.fireWith @ batch.js:43 c @ batch.js:167 b @ batch.js:179
Workaround:
- Use the New navigation style, by clicking on "Switch to new navigation"
- Refresh the page to resume work.
