Current Problem:
Currently, there is no native way to "move" objects or object types from one schema to another in Jira Service Management Assets. Users can only export data to CSV and re-import it into a new schema, or manually recreate the structure. This process is time-consuming, does not preserve object history, and results in new Object Keys/IDs, which breaks existing references in Jira issues or automation rules.
Suggested Solution:
Provide a built-in "Move" function that allows administrators to:
Select an Object Type (including all its underlying objects) and move it to a different Object Schema.
Select specific Objects and move them to an Object Type in a different Schema.
Ensure that the "Move" operation is a complete migration (transfer) rather than a copy, ideally preserving the object's history and attributes where possible.
