      Current State:

      • As part of the recent merge of the "List" and "All work" views into a single unified "List" experience in Jira Cloud, the "Copy to clipboard" bulk action is no longer available.
      • Previously, users could select multiple issues in the List view and use the "Copy to clipboard" button from the bulk action bar to quickly copy issue details (keys, summaries, etc.) to their clipboard for use in emails, documents, spreadsheets, or other tools.
      • This functionality is now missing from the new merged List view, with no direct replacement provided.

      Proposed Future State:

      • Reintroduce the "Copy to clipboard" option as a bulk action in the new unified List view.
      • When users select one or more issues, the bulk action bar at the bottom of the view should include a "Copy to clipboard" button that copies the selected issue details in a structured format — consistent with or improved upon the behaviour available in the legacy List view.
      • This is a commonly used workflow for users who need to quickly share or reference multiple issues outside of Jira without exporting to a file.

      Alternative:

      • Export to CSV: Users can export the current List view results to a CSV file via the Export option, then copy the needed data from the spreadsheet. This adds extra steps and is not a seamless replacement.
      • JQL Search / Issue Navigator: Users can run a JQL query in the advanced search view and export results from there. Again, this requires navigating away from the project List view.

None of these alternatives fully replicates the simplicity and efficiency of a native "Copy to clipboard" bulk action.
