Issue Summary
Forms provide the option to translate the content into different languages. However if you have some text on a form that is a hyperlink, the main form editor will support that, but the translation component does have the ability to add a link to the translation in the editor.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Form
- Add some text to the form, highlight the text and choose the link option from the toolbar. Enter a web URL to make the text a hyperlink.
- Select the Translate tab.
- Choose a new language to translate the form into.
- Select the field that highlights the text you added with the link
- Notice the Translate editor along the right does not contain the ability to insert a link
Expected Results
You should be able to enter a hyperlink like you can on the main form editor within the translation to support translated text that links to some other web resource.
Actual Results
There is no way to add a link or any other advanced style text formatting when doing the translation. The only option formatting options are the basic options (bold, italics etc.) and color.
Workaround
You can highlight and copy the original Text field on the translation column menu along the right and paste that into the translation editor. This will paste the link and text that was originally there. Then click on the link in the editor and you should see the 'Edit Link' option appear in the editor. Then you can change the Display Text to the updated language.
