Current State:

Today, we can monitor Assets external imports via API, but we have no supported, public way to monitor the Health / status of Data Manager import including cleanse and import jobs themselves via API.

• Assets import can show as “successful” while Data Manager silently failed earlier.

• We therefore can’t rely on Assets import status as a true indicator that our latest Data Manager processing ran successfully.

Proposed Future State:

This is a feature request to provide a public Data Manager API that allows us to query import status including cleanse and import job status and errors programmatically so customers can build reliable monitoring and alerting.
