Current State:

In Opsgenie, actions were added in an alert field, but the actions have been replaced by automations in JSM. However, they can't explicitly be tied to a field. You can only filter the automations available based on the integration, source, or priority. JSM alert still have an 'actions' field, but this isn't tied to the automations.

Proposed Future State:

An alert field for automations that can be set via API, integration, or policy. Or an automation trigger for an action being selected.

Alternative (e.g. Third Party Plugin):

Use one of the available filters to set the automations.
