      Issue Summary

After the international prefix, "0" is allowed, which is an invalid format in most E.164-style numbering schemes.

Jira Operations (Personal settings) should not allow that format to be added, as the mobile network can handle the wrong format in SMS but not in Voice notifications.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step 1: Go to Jira Operations personal settings
      2. Step 2: Add phone number in voice and sms

      Expected Results

      • 0 should not be allowed after the international prefix; this is affecting voice calls.

      Actual Results

      • 0 is allowed after international prefix

      Workaround

      We recommend the following steps:

        1. When adding or editing a mobile number in personal notification settings:
          • Enter it in strict international format (E.164):
            +<country-code><subscriber-number-without-leading-0>
        1. For any numbers already saved in the +CC0… format:
          • Edit the contact method.
          • Remove the 0 immediately after the country code.
          • Example (UK): change +4407xxx...+447xxx...
          • Save and, if prompted, re-verify the number.
