Current State:

The Opsgenie Heartbeat functionality can be pinged using an API call that uses a GenieKey value.

The JSM Operations Heartbeat requires authentication that uses a user specific api token value, which requires storing of that authentication combo in an end system and regular updates of the api token as it expires.

Proposed Future State:

JSM Operations exposes a GenieKey value and allows Heartbeat pings to be sent via API Call using the GenieKey authentication,  without requiring a particular user/api token that needs regular updates.
