Problem Definition:
Currently, when performing an import using Data Manager, there is no option to cancel or stop the import process once it has started. This can be problematic if an import becomes stuck, is taking too long, or was initiated by mistake. The lack of a cancellation feature can lead to unnecessary delays, resource consumption, and potential data inconsistencies.
Suggested Solution:
Introduce a feature in Data Manager that allows users (with appropriate permissions) to cancel or terminate stuck import jobs directly from the user interface.
Why this is important:
- Decreases dependency on Atlassian Support for operational issues, improving customer satisfaction.
- User would like to have self serve option for this requirement.
Workaround:
Currently, users must contact Atlassian Support to request manual intervention.
