Component/s: Forge and Connect
Current State:
Currently, Forge provides the jiraServiceManagement:queuePage module, which allows app vendors to add a separate page within Jira Service Management (JSM). However, there is no Forge UI extension point available directly within the JSM queue screens themselves. This limitation prevents vendors from adding custom functionality (e.g., exporting work items to PDF) directly in the context of the queue view where users manage and triage requests. The only available extension point is for a separate page, not within the queue interface itself. Refer to the attached screenshot :

Proposed Future State:
Introduce a Forge UI extension point that allows apps to inject custom UI elements or actions directly into the JSM queue screens. This would enable vendors to add features such as "Export to PDF" buttons or other workflow enhancements exactly where users interact with their queues, improving usability and integration.
Alternative (e.g. Third Party Plugin):
Currently, there is no third-party plugin or workaround that enables this functionality within the Forge framework.
