Ability to Capture Knowledge Base Activities in Audit Logs

XMLWordPrintable

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Current State:

Currently, the audit log for linking or unlinking JSM project to a Confluence space (knowledge base) is only available with Atlassian Guard Premium. This specific activity is not captured in the standard Audit logs found under System → Audit logs.

If admin require visibility into these actions, they would need to enable Atlassian Guard Premium, which provides advanced audit logging capabilities, including tracking of project-to-space linking and unlinking events

      Proposed Future State:

It would be highly beneficial to provide the ability to view all knowledge base-related activities directly in the audit logs. This feature would allow administrators to monitor actions such as:

      • Linking or unlinking JSM projects to Confluence spaces (knowledge bases)
      • Creating, deleting, or modifying knowledge base spaces
      • Changing permissions or access settings for knowledge bases
