Steps to Reproduce

- Open the myColorado Support Request Form on iOS or Android devices.
- Observe that the focus automatically moves to the “What can we help you with?” combobox instead of remaining at the start of the page.
Screen Recording
Actual Results
When the page loads, the focus automatically moves to the “What can we help you with?” combobox in the main content area, instead of remaining at the top of the page, where the “Skip to Main Content” link is located.
As a result, screen reader users are unable to access the “Skip to Main Content” link on initial load, preventing them from bypassing repetitive navigation elements such as the header links. This unexpected focus movement disrupts the logical reading and navigation order, causing confusion and disorientation, especially for screen reader users who rely on predictable focus behavior to understand the page structure.
Expected Results
When the page loads, the focus should remain at the top of the page, allowing users to access the “Skip to Main Content” link or other initial navigational elements.
Apply the following changes:
- Do not automatically move focus to the “What can we help you with?” combobox (or any other interactive element) on page load.
- Ensure that initial focus remains at the top of the page, so users can access the “Skip to Main Content” link and navigate the page in a logical, predictable order.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
