Actual Results
Some user interface focus indicators have insufficient contrast ratios between their background and foreground colors.
- The focus indicator for the "myColorado Customer Support" link in the header with foreground #0050D6 focus indicator color has a contrast ratio of 1.4:1 with #02833D background color.
- The focus indicator for options like "Complaint," "Vaccination Card Issue," "General support," "Accessibility support" and so on present in the "What can we help you with" dropdown menu with foreground #F4F5F7 focus indicator color have a contrast ratio of 1.1:1 with #FFFFFF background color.
This will make it difficult for people with low vision and color blindness to identify the focus indicator for the user interface controls that have insufficient contrast.
Expected Results
The contrast ratio between the foreground color of the focus indicator and its background color should be sufficient.
Ensure that the color contrast of focus indicator for all user interface controls is 3:1 with the foreground and background color.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
