Current State:

When Object Schema has Parent Object Type (Abstract) with Inheritance enabled and Child Object type has Objects.

Now to update the child objects we need to create Import configuration with mapping pointing to Child Objects like below.

If we use Parent Object Type like below , then the Imports will not update the objects.

Proposed Future State:

Add the ability to update Child Objects from Parent Object type mapping and it will avoid creating multiple child mappings.

Alternative (e.g. Third Party Plugin):

None at the moment.
