Add members to incident Slack channel automation action fails if the smart value contains more than one account

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

The Add members to incident Slack channel rule component action fails if more than one user is present on the smart value that is being added as a member.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an automation rule to Add members to incident Slack channel
      2. On the channel members section of the rule component, use a smart value of a custom field, for example, Request participants.
      3. Create an Incident
      4. Add two or more request participants
      5. Trigger the automation rule

      Expected Results

The request participants/users are added to the incident channel as members.

      Actual Results

If it's one request participant/user, it gets added to the channel. If it's more, it triggers the following rule error:

      • We couldn't complete the Slack operation.

      Workaround

Manually add the participants to the channel after the creation.
