Issue Summary
JSM Knowledge Base is powered by confluence. Confluence search is not returning draft article for JSM agents (unlicensed users). In this case, the drafts are created by these JSM agents only. If the drafts are published, then they become visible to JSM agents.
Steps to Reproduce
Please see the attached loom video below.
[^Reproducing steps for JSDCLOUD-14769.mp4]
Expected Results
Draft pages should be visible and searchable to JSM agents.
Actual Results
Draft pages are not visible and searchable to JSM agents.
Workaround
Right now, the workarounds are:
- Obtaining a Confluence license to make the article drafts visible.
- Saving the draft link to use it afterwards. With the link, it's possible to reopen the draft and continue the work.
If you lose the link to the draft, you can follow the steps below to access it:
- Go to the KB space through Confluence (agents without a license can access it).
- Click on the draft. You will see a permission error, but the URL will be like below:
https://<site>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<kb_space>/pages/edit-v2/425988?draftShareId=da528530-8923-4c6a-a878-de383454b72c - Copy the numbers after edit-v2 and draftShareId. Paste it on the URL below:
