Issue Summary
Once a work item reaches the approval stage, approvers can approve a request via the following sources:
- Email notification
- Customer portal
- Agent view
While notifications can be suppressed, the portal and agent views are always there. This suggestion aims to add the ability to restrict those as well, especially the portal one.
Not all information is available for work items viewed in the portal, and that could be a reason to force the approver to go to Jira View (assuming they have a license).
Note: A 'fallback' plan would be needed for cases where the approver does not have a license and is forced to approve a request using the Jira Agent view.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enter an approval phase on a work item
- Access either the portal or the agent view to approve the request
Expected Results
- Being able to block one or the other
Actual Results
- Both are available
Workaround
For the specific case where the portal does not have all the available information, copy that information into custom fields, add those fields to the request type and make them available in the portal.
