Issue Summary:

When attaching emails via Outlook add-in into Jira attaches emails in the issue view such that when those attachments are clicked they are previewed correctly in the email format and is user friendly. It would be nice to expose this functionality via API so that it can be used in automation rules to be able to attached .eml and .msg files so that they can render as an email.

Expected Results:

It would be nice to have an API through which we can attach files (email) and preview them in the issue view itself.

Actual Results:

Currently it doesn't display the attached email contents and it is not user friendly.

Workaround

Currently the user would need to download the attachment and then open it in relevant application to view the data.
