Current State:

Currently, any message sent to a request channel configured with JSM Chat/Assist with automatic creation enabled will be actioned upon by the Assist bot to kick off a request creation workflow. 

Proposed Future State:

A method to restrict what messages get detected by the Assist bot in automatic creation request channels could be achieved by keyword or phrase matching, or by ignoring certain users/groups/etc.

Alternative (e.g. Third Party Plugin):

Currently, the only method to bypass automatic creation is by placing the :mega: emoji at the front of the message sent to the channel — the Assist bot ignores the message and no request creation workflow beings. However, this cannot be applied in all use cases, such as bot messages.
