Current State:

Microsoft released a feature that allows renaming the General channels in MS Teams:

Currently, JSM Chat does not update the channel name information in the JSM Chat settings if the channel is renamed (it'll still show as General). Aside from that, users should not expect to face issues with other functionalities of the integration, as the integration considers the channel ID, not the name.

Proposed Future State:

Ensure full parity between MS Teams and JSM Chat so that the channel name is reflected on both sides of the integration.
