Current State:
Currently, only one work item can be created based on a single message in Slack and any threaded replies attached to it. When applying the :ticket: emoji to a message where a work item has already been created, Assist will whisper to the channel "A request has already been created from this message."
Proposed Future State:
Some customers may require duplicate tickets created from the same Slack message, or the ability to create a "linked" work item of sorts to the original work item — the proposed behavior in the future would be to carve a method to enable this sort of action while maintaining data integrity/continuity.
Alternative (e.g. Third Party Plugin):
There is not a workaround available within Slack, however users can create linked/duplicate work items within JSM if necessary.
