Current State:
With the new feature of receiving email notifications for failed email requests, project admins receive notifications when a connection can’t be established successfully with an existing email account due to rate limiting or authentication issues.
Currently, the failure notification will be triggered if there is a continuous outage lasting more than 40 minutes, and notifications will continue until the outage is resolved.
Proposed Future State:
Our suggestion is to send a notification about the failure right after the first rate limit on the email connection.
