Current State:
Sometimes, when a ticket is created in Slack by a customer, the customer initiating the request is not mapped to a JSM Customer account. When this happens, Chat will default Assist as the reporter of the ticket instead of the actual user.
Proposed Future State:
When this happens, there should be a way to identify the actual reporter of the ticket, as this information is not currently logged.
