Issue Summary

Collaborators can be assigned to service project work items/issues from the project queue section; however, ideally, they should not be assigned to Jira Service Management issues as outlined in this document.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Grant the user Jira license 
2. Navigate to Service Project > Project settings > People and Access > Click on Add user
3. Grant the user Service Desk Team role
4. Navigate to the project queue > select the work item > from top bar > click on Assignee > Search for the Collaborators user
   

Expected Results

Collaborators should not be assigned to work items within the service project.

Actual Results

Collaborators user is assigned to service project work items.

Workaround

User should be agent to assign work items in service project. Hence user would need to be granted Jira Service Management license  and have 'Assignable User' permission
