Problem definition:

As per the document- View the different types of activity on a work item , currently approvals are tracked in the Approvals tab of the issue Activity. Jira Data center currently tracks approvals using Past approvals section as mentioned in the following section-How can I keep track of the approvals of a request? . 

Proposed Future State:

A similar Past approvals section would be helpful in cloud so that approvals can be easily tracked in issue view.
