Unable to integrate Slack with JSM team-managed project with error "something went wrong. Please try again later"
How to replicate -
The problem occurs when the Atlassian Assist App is installed in the tenant before the JSM product is created. As a result, it doesn't receive the necessary JSM permissions, including portal-write access.
Steps to Reproduce the Issue:
- Create a tenant with Jira.
- Check if Atlassian Assist exists in the connected Apps.
- Create a JSM product for this tenant.
- Enable the premium trial and attempt to connect to Slack. Go to project settings of the team-managed project > Chat> Add to slack > choose the workspace and click Allow > "something went wrong. Please try again later" error pops up on JSM UI
Workaround -
The support team can help execute the necessary steps from the backend which will assign the desired permissions to the Assist app.
