Issue Summary

In the new navigation the Latvian character ī is not being displayed correctly:

Steps to Reproduce

1. In your Jira project add the Latvian character in a comment or project name.
2. Change the Jira navigation to new navigation view.

Expected Results

The character should be displayed as is.

Actual Results

The character is displayed incorrectly.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
