Issue Summary
Recently an issue occurred that prevented voice calls from going through to (+65) Singapore based numbers, with 'CallStatus: rejected' logged, this meant responders did not get a call. Whilst this issue was corrected and was found to be a general problem fixed by engineering, there is currently no pro-active method to inform Admins that this is a problem.
Feature Request
In order to inform Admins of key events/actions that could affect the responsiveness of responders to alerts there should be a feature made available to inform Admins when an event occurs in the Operations Audit Log, like the following:
[alertRecipient] Rule[New Alert][Create] -> Could not send [voice] notification to [65-xxxxxxxxxx], CallStatus: rejected
(Category: Alerts , and Level: Information)
Additional point on the Level
We should be categorising forwarded error events from voice providers at the Error level in the Audit log.
Workaround
There's no direct alternative, however an external script/system could be setup to string match in the current Operations Audit Log API.
