In our current setup there seem to be two sources of truth - 1. slack messages and 2. Jira ticket created from slack message. I can easily go from slack message to Jira ticket. But there is no other way around. I prefer to interact with customers via slack directly. But often I begin with Jira dashboard (so I can see which issue is most time sensitive) and then I want to go back to original slack message to communicate with a customer. Today there is no way for me to do that easily. I have to remember the name of an author (seen in Jira dashboard) and then manually scan slack message to see request from them. IT would be nice for Jira ticket to contain link to slack message to save me time.
