      Issue Summary

The Assets macro will allow Confluence users to display Assets from JSM on Confluence pages, which requires a JSM license.

It is also possible for Confluence users without a JSM license to see those Assets by configuring the Object Viewer role as mentioned in Now available: Showcase your Assets objects in Confluence Cloud!.

As of today it is not possible for a Confluence user without a JSM license to add the Assets macro and select from a list of Assets to be displayed on a Confluence page.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Steps:

      1. Log in to Confluence as a user without a JSM license
      2. Create a new page
      3. Add the Assets macro

      Expected Results

User should be able to select and display Assets as long as they have Object Viewer permission.

      Actual Results

It is not possible to configure this macro as an error message is displayed:

      Workaround

As a JSM license is required for the macro to be configured, the available workarounds are:

      1. ask another user with a JSM license to add the Assets macro to a page
      2. request a JSM license
