Issue Summary
If the Slack organization that a Virtual Agent is connected to is using Slack data loss prevention (DLP) policies, DLP policies can prevent the Virtual Agent from creating issues.
The Virtual Agent provides an error code that Atlassian Support can use to identify the issue but the error should be surfaced to the user.
See Slack Data Loss Prevention
Steps to Reproduce
- Have a Slack Organization that is on enterprise Grid.
- Enable a DLP rule.
- Connect a Virtual Agent/Chat to Slack
- Have the user try to create an issue that will trigger the DLP rule
- Virtual Agent will be unable to create the issue but will not provide the DLP rule information to the user. Instead it will provide an error code.
Expected Results
The Virtual Agent should support Slack DLP and provide the Warning to the user that is configured.
Actual Results
The Virtual Agent/Chat will be unable to create the issue and provide an error code for Support.
Workaround
If using Virtual Agent/Chat with Slack, disable DLP rules that may trigger issue creation.
