      Issue Summary

When a request type is associated with the Parent field in the Request Form tab and has a default value that links to a Parent issue from a different project, users who don't have access to the project won't be able to submit the request, instead a pop-up error will appear.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open any Request type and associate the Parent field to the Request Form tab.
      2. Click on the Parent field and set a Default parent from a different project.
      3. Ask an Internal user to try to Open an issue from the Jira view for the Request type that has the default Parent value.

      Expected Results

The Issue create modal opens without any errors.

      Actual Results

The Issue create modal shows up the following error message: "Something's gone wrong Our team has been notified. If the problem persists, please contact Atlassian support."

      Workaround

      • Add the affected user to the project where the default Parent issue key was set in the Request form (They should have at least the Browse projects permission to have visibility over the issue).
      • Remove the default Parent issue key from the Request form.
