Issue Summary
When enabling the Link service projects to a help center feature if you have Knowledge Base articles added to the Help Center's as Topics the breadcrumbs at the top of the article can contain the name of the project associated with the Help Center in a path similar to:
[Help Center Name]/[Project Name]/[Article Name]
and if the same Confluence Space and the Knowledge Base articles are added to two different projects within the Help Center then the breadcrumbs show a path similar to:
[Help Center Name]/[Article Name]
There should be a consistency of adding the [Project Name] to the breadcrumb at the top of the Knowledge base article or not.
Steps to Reproduce
- Make sure you have at least two different Jira Service Management projects within your instance.
- Make sure you have at least two different Help Centers created for your instance.
- Make sure you have the same Confluence space is linked to the two different Jira Service Management projects.
- Make sure you have enabled the Link service projects to a help center feature.
- Add the Knowledge Base articles to the Topics of your Help center.
Expected Results
There should be consistency in the breadcrumb convention. It'll be easier to navigate and less confusing if the [Project Name] is not added to the breadcrumb path in the Knowledge Base article and just the [Help Center Name]/[Article Name] is displayed.
Actual Results
When you click on a Knowledge Base Article from the Topics page on the Help Center, the [Help Center Name]/[Article Name] convention in Knowledge Base articles is only honored if the articles exist in two different Jira Service Management projects within the instance (meaning that the same Confluence space is linked to two different Jira Service Management projects).
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
