Legacy automation - When run rule is set as "The user who triggered the rule". Automation set for issue close in xx number of minutes/hours/days fails with error : this user was deleted

      Issue Summary

      When the run-rule is set as "The user who triggered the rule". Automation set for transition the issue to close in xx number of minutes/hours/days fails with error: this user was deleted.

       

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set the automation as such:
      2. Create an issue
      3. Set issue as the status set in "When this happens"
      4. Wait for the time set in automation

      Expected Results

      Automation runs as expected and the issue will be transitioned to the status set in the result

      Actual Results

      Gets error "This user was deleted":

      Workaround

      Change the run rule as Project default (The user should have permissions to the service desk project and perform the transition issue permissions)
