@mentioned users are not getting tagged with their name but with their Atlassian account ID in Teams chat

      Issue Summary

      User tags are improperly shown in the Teams Assist app. 

      When users are tagged or @mentioned they are not getting tagged with their name but with their Atlassian account ID. Both the triage channel notifications and the Assist bot are affected. 

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open an Agent / Request change, @ mention a user, and add the comment on the ticket. It will show the user's AA ID instead of the user name.

      Expected Results

      It should show the User name as @ mention

      Actual Results

      The user's Atlassian ID is shown as @ mention

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
