Text, Date and other attribute types have an apply or discard update options while editing an attribute as shown below:

Others are automatically updated after selecting a value, like the Status attributes.

However User, Group and Object attributes behave differently. They're not directly updated or have the confirmation options, requiring an extra click outside the attribute selection to be saved accordingly.

It would be proper having the selection confirmation or directly updating the details for those attributes as well.
