Summary

At the moment, when creating new forms data connections, it does not accept REST API body. However, we have customers using forms data connection to retrieve Assets data using Get iql objects REST API call. However, this is getting deprecated in favor of  Post object aql. Due to this, we will need the Forms data connection to accept REST API body during creation.

Suggestion:

It would be great to have the ability to include the REST API body when creating new Forms Data connection.

Workaround

Use an Assets Custom Field, and link form field to that Assets Custom Field. This is an alternative to using data connection to fetch assets data.
