Issue Summary

When adding smart value to the variable, spacing does not work. It oddly works when you enter a word and add a space in between letters and again try to remove the space between the . and the word. This was not the case earlier.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add create variable action
2. Try to add a smart value {{issue. }} and try to add a space after the . which will not work.
3. However, again, try to add a smart value issue.ve rsion and add a space in the word and again try to press space bar after the . you will see that it works now.

spacing should work irrespective

Workaround
