"New option..." is always shown in Customer Portal for drop down fields under Forms

      Summary

      When drop down fields and multi-select drop down fields are present in forms and they have Other option, the customer portal always shows New option field. When the Other... option is selected, the New option text field is editable.

      Environment

      • JSM Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to Forms and create a Form with a drop down and multi-select drop down fields. Ensure that you have Other... choice added to it.
      2. Use this form in a request type.
      3. Go to Customer Portal and choose this request type. The page should show the drop down and multi-select drop down fields.
      4. Note that the New option text field is always shown, even when the Other... choice is not selected.

      Expected Results

      • The New option text field should be offered to only Other... option and should be hidden for all other choices.

      Actual Results

      • The New option is shown always, irrespective of the choice selected for drop down and multi-select drop down fields.

      Notes
