Currently, Assets doesn't provide the Archive functionality for objects/object types like the Jira projects Archive feature. 

Suggested Solution

Provide the ability to archive Assets objects.

Workaround

As per the use case, you may consider creating a new object type/Object Schema. This way objects/object types to be archive can be separated in the Assets Management.

Or, you may create a status in the required object schema called "Archived" and add the status to the objects but it doesn't hide/archive the data but has an attribute called "status" with the value "Archived" to filter the objects. To manage statuses in Assets, refer to the document: Manage statuses
