Issue Summary
We've received a request to implement a subscription list update feature for specific Knowledge Base articles, similar to a watch list for KB articles.
The business rationale behind this is to offer a Compatibility Matrix in the customers' work environment, ensuring that customers are notified when updates are made to the article.
Steps to Reproduce
Unable to reproduce the issue, as there is no option available to notify the subscribed customers pertaining to the updates or changes made to KB articles.
Expected Results
The request involves implementing a subscription feature for selected Knowledge Base articles, similar to a watch list. This is to ensure customers receive notifications, particularly for changes to the article or updates.
Actual Results
Currently, JSM does not offer an option for enabling subscription lists for specific Knowledge Base articles. As a result, the requested feature to provide notifications to customers regarding the KB article content updates can't be implemented.
Workaround
Required, if there is no workaround please state:
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available. However, an announcement banner can be used as an option to notify the users about the KB article updates and the versions published.
