As of now, each Request Channel works with only one project, it would be relevant to have the ability to add more projects to a Request Channel.
Workaround
Only applies for Slack
Please note that raising a ticket this way requires your users to know the project and request type they're submitting to. You will need to set any projects you do not want your users to open a ticket in to hidden. You can do this in the project settings > Chat > settings.
Toggling the "Hide project during issue creation" setting to on will make it so that users raising requests outside of that project's designated request channel will not be able to see the hidden project.
- Make sure that the two projects you want to use are connected to Slack in the Chat settings, have connected request types and an Agent channel.
- Make sure that the channel you're using as the request channel in Slack does not have Assist added. You can type /remove @assist to remove the bot from the channel.
- To raise a request in a non-connected request channel, type* /Assist *into the text bar followed by your message, and send.
- Assist will provide a popup to finish raising the request - at this point, the user will need to select the project they'd like to raise a request in as well as which request type they would like to use if there is more than one for the selected project.
- After making their selection, the user can fill out the ticket form provided through Slack and hit send.
The ticket will not surface in the request channel - ONLY in the agent channel.
