JSM Chat: When a message is edited in Slack, only the text is updated in the Jira Issue's comments, even if an attachment is added during the edit.

      Problem Definition

      When editing a message in Slack, the content is copied to the comment on the Jira Issue, but if an attachment is added to the Slack Comment, that attachment isn't synced to the Jira Issue.

      Notably, this means when a message is sent to the main Slack Channel for a Slack Thread, which is an "edit" action, the attachments aren't added to the Jira Issue.

      Suggested Solution

      Have the edit action sync all details of a comment, rather than just the text.

      Workaround

      Make a new Slack Comment to contain any non-text data that isn't the result of an edit.
