When a request is raised in a request channel via Assist in Slack (and private updates are not enabled), public updates/comments made on the ticket/agent channel are synched to this original thread on the request channel - meaning all users on the channel are able to view comments on the request through there.
However, if a request is created via Jira/portal/email/widget (any channel outside of Slack) and it syncs to Slack, only agents (via agent channel) and the reporter (via Assist app) will have access to it.
It would be good to be able to sync requests (created outside of Slack) into a public channel, so as to mime the behavior from when the request is created via Slack.
