Under the existing system, only Portal-only users can use the IDP-initiated flow for SSO login with the JSM Portal. When a user has an Atlassian Account and attempts to access the JSM Portal via the IDP-initiated link, it results in the creation of a new account for that user.
In order to enhance our clients' login experience with the JSM Portal, we could introduce an option on the login page of the JSM Portal. This feature would be able to identify the user's account type (AA or Portal-only user) and subsequently permit them to log in using SSO (IDP Initiated flow).
