Problem Definition
I would like the option to have Assist ask for additional details after a request is made.
Suggested Solution
Provide a way to configure Assist to offer a modal after a request is made that allows the customer to fill out additional details on the Issue while staying in Slack or Teams.
As an example, this might be how the exchange goes:
- Requestor raises a Request by sending a message in a Request Channel
- Assist responds to the message letting them know they're on it, but also provides a link or button to pop up a modal where the Fields on the Issue can be filled out. This way, it is optional.
Workaround
Use an Automation Rule to add a comment to the newly created Request asking for more details and providing a format for the response to be in.
When the requestor responds in Slack with those details, have another Rule trigger and parse those details into the Custom Fields on the Issue.
