    Description

      Issue

Currently when a user approves an issue within Jira Service Management using an approval workflow step, even if the user is removed from the approver field (whether it is a User Picker or Group Picker field), they can still access the ticket.

This is to allow various JQL functions to work such as myApproval() or list past approvals within the Jira Service Management Customer Portal. This can help users who are required to approve requests to return to tickets they have in the past approved for audit purposes.

However there may be scenarios where administrators want to restrict access to tickets after an approver has completed the approval action and they are removed from the field.

      Proposed solution

A possible solution to this would be to have a setting on a project to strict access by approvers to an issue after they are removed from the approver field.
