Currently, in Jira within automation, one references with AQL to a Key, Name or other attribute in Assets to identify or match an asset object. However, these attributes are not real identifiers because they can change. The Name is subject to change over time, and even the Key is regenerated when exporting and importing into a Sandbox environment. Hence, automations will fail and references will get lost.

To be able to really create a unique identifier, we need something like an auto generated UUID with option to override for import that will last throughout time on changes to objects.
