Improper Html Parsing of emails with strike element

Issue Summary

Improper parsing of HTML content which results in showing strikethrough text though it should not.

The HTML content looks like below

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Text-&gt;2-text(js)-&gt;41-text(text)-&gt;GF (text)-&gt;text<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Steps to Reproduce

1. Compose an email that contains text in a format similar to that provided in the issue summary
2. Send the mail to the JSM project email channel

Expected Results

The email content looks like the one below.

Actual Results

The comment text shows strikethrough text. 

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior.
