Description
Issue Summary
Creating a MS Team chat channel for an incident via JSM (Jira Service Management) is resulting in 422 error.
Known criteria/limitations with MS teams
- Atlassian Account & MS Chat email ID must be same
- Must have between 3 ~ 20 participants
- Must not use special characters in chat topic ie:
~ # % & * { } + / \ : < > ? | ' "
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a incident ticket
- In the Details section, find the Microsoft Teams field and select Create chat or meeting.
- Under the Type field, select Chat.
- Add people to chat using the Participants field.
- Select Create.
Expected Results
Successful creation of chat channel
Actual Results
Fails with following error message:
Error server response: 422
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
